Bluetooth question- how do I delete one of my 8 favorites?

Appears that the BT in my '04 with Nav has learned the first 8 numbers I dialed as my favorites. Wasn't an issue for some time but now I'd really prefer to change them. BMW instructions have nothing to say on this. Ideas??

You cant delete top-8 entries.
If you delete phone pairing and repair it again - Top-8 list will be cleared.
If you need specific number to appear on Top-8, you can dial this number many times,that it will replace some number.

You actually can delete a top 8 entry, click and hold on the entry and it will go away I believe. I have done this many times.

When I click and hold on the entry, it dials the number, not delete it.
