mrkbbd,
this does not directly answer your question but after doing the xpipe mod along with a AFE CAE and SuperSprint Exhaust............the longer that I have had the set up the better sounding it has gotten.....now that may be a bit psychological on my part, but I was told that exhaust does break in......now that it is a bit cooler here in the Northeast it is even getting a bit more throaty.....with that said I don't feel that you should be losing exhaust rumble or "NOTE"............i'm sure others will start to weigh in here just give it time....SUGGETSION - definitely do not call the "STEALER" /Dealer for this question......call a local INDIE SHOP that specializes in Exhaust......not like Midas but more Indie than that.....and simply just explain what X that you have and Engine that you have and i'm sure they could tell you what it may be?!?!??? I hope this helps.... RR

I think it's psychological...your ears have just grown used to the sound of your exhaust...do the X-Pipe and maybe an exhaust like an Eisenmann and I guarentee you won't feel the same way anymore.
