I know in Europe they actually use x5 as police cars, here in fl i saw an undercover 5 series so the cops are stepping up there game. i use these strobe light usually at car shows provides a great show for everyone to enjoy themselves with. I would never use this on the road, i would be taking a first class ticket to jail.

Two years ago I was at a gas station in nowhere USA and heard some sirens approaching. Turned to see a Yukon fire dept truck approaching, he took a corner at a little quickly (not fast) and I swear I thought it was going to tip over. The body roll was just ugly. Naturally being in my (at the time new) X5, I decided to take a crack at the same corner at about the speed I estimated him doing. I took the corner at 50, which I estimate to be 20mph faster, with ease. I thought to myself, why the hell don't they use these machines that are designed for this stuff. No excuses about buy American either!!
