PDC/Folding Mirrors Problem

Hi all -

For some reason when I am in reverse the PDC doesn't seem to beep at all. Could all the sensors be bad? When moving forward in a parking spot it always beeps like crazy so I know at least the whole system isn't shot.

Also when I press the button to fold my mirrors in the just shoot right back out. Is this a common problem?

Would these issues be covered under new vehicle warranty?

This forum confuses me sometimes...no offense to anyone in particular...but there are a ton more responses to posts about things like matchbox toy size X5's than to a post like this with a legitimate question about my vehicle.

Is there any particular reason for this? This isn't the first time I have encountered this and let alone all the other posts I see like this.

I feel like in the past it was much more helpful.

Both issues would be covered under new car warranty.

for the mirrors do a search, this is a very common issue with those folding mirrors. has to do with a contact in the mirror. It is a DIY fix there are many posts on it.
