I paid $37,000 at the auction, plus auction fee of $475, and the fee for the guy to get the car at the auction $1,250. Could not pass up the miles and condition.

Nice ride. I wonder how one with this low of miles got put into an auction--do you know anything about the previous owner or where it was serviced ? Maybe it was part of an estate sale and someone didn't want to deal with selling it online, etc.

Just know it was purchased in West Palm Beach. One owner. It was at a BMW auction, so it must have been a trade in.

The orginal books have the salesman's card. I may give him a ring.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
a 2 year old truck with low miles at auction was most likely a lease return. My dealer sends most of its lease returns to auction rather than try to sell them and sit on them for too long. I would take "lovethesport" up on his offer and pm him the vin# for a quick check. And of course call the original saleman for the scoop.

Yeah I saw this one the other day--great price. Bad news is no CPO and no 1.9% financing BMW is offering now on CPO (I think 4.8is is included). By the time you add on a good warranty you are about $35K. They have one here at a dealer in Dallas: '05, 4.8is, black, 35K miles, CPO for like $39K.
