X5 wheel vibration

Hi all:
I bought a set of Wheels/Tires from 2008 BMW X5 (E70) to be installed on my 2005 X5 (E53). I have major problems with vibration at any speed. Any recommendation on the type of spacers that would help fix this problem. Thanks

Sounds like the wheels are not balanced.Go back to the tire installer and have them check/rebalance the wheels.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
And you DO need to get the correct spacers. The wheels are hub-centric and center on the hub. There are numerous mentions of this around this site with sizes, etc. I would pull up a search from the google link on the page bottom. Otherwise, someone who has them installed might chime in.

You need to get the correct rings to make the wheels hub-centric. If I'm not mistaken the E70s have a 74.1 bore. So, you need one to fit down to 72.5 which, again if I'm not mistaken, is what the E53s have.
