Fog Light Question

Have read a bit about converting the fog lights to HID. In some of the threads there is concerne about them being too bright.

My X5 has HID headlights and they are very bright, I certainly am not haveing a problem seeing at night.

Is there a bulb I can get that matches the headlights better? The cost of the HID foglights is not too bad, but I don't think I need them, would just prefer the "look".

I have an 01 4.4, that I just got and I am making excuses to have to go drive somewhere! I really like it.

Thanks

yeah if you don't want an HID kit there are hyperwhite bulbs and Xenon-Match bulbs. I found a pair here : http://www.angelibright.com/cart/ind...emart&Itemid=1

I also dont 'need' the HID foglights because I already have the factory kit but HIDs look better. But I'm worried about them being too bright on oncoming motorists so I'm thinking about the Xenon-match bulbs. If you end up getting them let me know they look/perform!

How bright are these? do they give off the white color? or is it still a halogen type color....I don't trust the pics...

They should be giving a white color or near-white color. They definately will not be like standard halogens.
