Why is there a hatred of Amber Turn Signals?

My tail lights are clear and my headlights only have a little amber just at the edge.

But so many threads have a disgust for amber. Why?

Personal preference. Euros don't use amber and most black or silver vehicles look better with clear than amber.

It adds another colour to the car which may well clash with the body colour whereas clear is totally neutral.

I agree with others...Its going for a clean look.. No colors that offset the overall color scheme of the car. Clear also looks great with black car...

Agree with others on the fact that the clear lenses do not break the overall color scheme and it gives the vehicle a more updated and cleaner look....

Amber makes the car look older. Clear is the new standard. Just look and compare, its night and day.
