Broke regulator - Driver Rear

Well, the driver rear regulator just broke. Is it worth fixing it myself or bring it in to the stealership?

If it is worth fixing myself, any direction on how to do it?

If you are out of warranty then it can certainly save you a lot of money by doing it yourself. I've done both a front and a rear and it's not that difficult.

See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=75 and http://kordless.blogspot.com/2005/03...ow-repair.html for some helpful tips.

mine broke on trip back from picking it up - usually happens to the least used window - the cables develope kinks from inactivity - these become weak points - had same problems with our cable slings at work - now I regularly cycle the windows if it is nice out.
