miles to kilometers

Hi
I bought a 2006 X5 in California and brought it to Canada. Anyone know how I switch the Miles to Kilometers in the drivers cluster? I already switched from Farehheit to celcius, that was easy but I cannot find the instructions for miles.
The 2 displays I am trying to fix are #1 and #2 on page73 of the manual. (#3 I have already fixed, that was easy, outside temp display)

It is in the owners manual.

No, changing it isn't in the owner's manual. It involves a trip to the dealer for reprogramming. If you have the navigation system, there is a setting to change from miles to km but it only affects the trip distance in the NAV system, it doesn't change the primary odometer reading. Decide if you really want it changed, and if so have the dealer do it.
