How do you replace door pull and pillars???

Hi, I have an 04' X5 and the drivers side door pull, the black rubber part, not the top titanium part, is chipped real bad. Is ther a DIY for the door pull? I just wasn't sure if I have to take apart the entire door panel?

I also need to replace the driver side front door and rear door applique panel. (matte black)The larger pillars on the outside. Is this a big job?Thanks for your help. I bought this used 1 month ago and the outside pillars were scratched bad as well as door pull.
