Cushioned Ball Mount for Towing - Highly Recommended
Just got back from towing 2 jetskis from the adirondacks. I used the cushioned ball mount on the x5 for the first time. It was such a different experience then the typical mounts. It was virutally silent the whole ride, didnt even feel like I was towing anything behind me.
Highly recommended. There made by several different manuf. but pretty much work the same, here's a pic:

Never even heard of such. Can you provide a link to one or two manufacturers?

I got mine from etrailer.com, its made by convert-a-ball. Compared with a standard ballmount, the cushion version elminates the jerking while braking and accelerating. It claims to reduce the wear/tear on your drivetrain (which I definetly agree with). http://www.etrailer.com/c-BM2C.htm |
