Back from the "X5 clinic"

Result:
original values:
hp -> 202
Nm -> 525

now:
hp -> 280
Nm -> 675

All I can say is that I only did a 0-100km sprint and timed it/ before it was around 9.8 seconds (avarage), now I clocked it down on 7.9.
I'll scan and post the dyno output tonight. On the way back I was behind a 330Ci and when he floored it, I stayed right on his @ss. Couldn't pass him, but he couldn't drive away from me. I'll do some more timing and let you know.

Custom reprogramming of the motor management software.
It took them 7 hours, as it's not off the shelf. They program every car individually.

It is quite an astonishment what just engine management software reprogramming can do. Unbelievable! By the way I see in your signature that you drive ( or u drove ?) an Autobianchi A112 Abarth. That was quite a little 'bomb' . I rebuilt one with a friend (a 1979 model) and raced with it ('courses de cotes') in the French Pyrenees montains back in my university years looong ago.

We still have the A112 Abarth. It's my girlfriends weekend toy . It's awesome to drive it, I agree. I use the Integrale (270hp, 1200kg of weight) in the weekends

unfortunately for all the US guys...yes, a turbo diesel engine is much easier to tune than a pertrol engine. The same guy gets 260hp and 340Nm out of the X5 3.0i. And it costs 4000 euro, while tuning my diesel was 960 euro.
