Vredestein Tire Update

So I finished the break-in on my tires (about 1000 or so miles) and started really "testing" them around some banked turns around DC. My verdict is the tires are great...to a point. When you start to get near the limits they are uncommunicative and let go without much warning, in one case no warning at all almost making the car a bit twitchy. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just wasn't expecting the car to react the way it did. I think that on a track they will be awesome because they will make trail-braking much easier. On uncomplicated, basic, banked, and smooth turns the tires are absolutely phenomenal, however when the roads become a bit tricky with many changes of directions and elevations you have to be a bit more on top of things, still great but I think in that situation the Michelins were actually better. Wet weather performance is bar-none the best I have ever had in a tire.

In laymans terms I was doin about 80 mph on i95 here in CT...on the smooth road man these mutherz grip....it was when I was doing 80 on some very badly paved and chewed up road that i was getting kinda moved around. Nothing I could not handle and I really don't see myself on that type of road that often.. as for the wet....we had a very rainy day with downpours yestereday..so I took advantage and got on the Vredesteins.....again..taking from mrkbbd............bar-none the best i have had in a tire also!!
