opening 03 headlights

hey all, can anybody tell me if there is any way to open up the 03 headlights. mtX5 told me how much a new assembly is and i almost shit myself. looking for a cheaper alternative, please help.

not happening. that's the year BMW used uber crazy glue for the hedlights. I'd look on ebay for a set of headlights. Good luck.

Generally, it isn't possible to open an '03 X's headlights, but I would check the date of the lights to verify if you can or cannot open the lights.

Read this post right here:
Headlights

For our '03 X5, our headlights were produced in 8/02. BMW does make headlights far before the car, so you have gotten some earlier production headlights installed on your '03.
