Please Help Me

Dear All:
im new in this site and i need a huge kinda help
i got X5 2003
I bought it used last year
Since that time till now almost 11 months I spend a lot on it even the mileage for it is low!! about 80000 first time the radiator then AC, bearings, electric fan, water pump, phone base, window lifter (3rd time), suspension balloon, and now the transmission something wrong with it I came to the office I parked the car like every day but when I went out I turned the car on and it gave me that feeling like the hand brake in on or like your pulling an 18 wheeler??? Then it’ll change to 2nd gear and it will go like every day sweet? Really I love this car but if I’m going to spend a fortune on it I’ll sell it

Are you ppl spending that much on a X5 or I’m the only unlucky person

Please if any one know how can I solve this I need help

By the way I didn’t change gear oil till now some ppl told me don’t change it cuz your gonna change the whole gear after that others said change it no problem???

Pleaseeeeeeeee help
Regards

It sounds like you bought the car right when it needed that 80,000 mile maintenance. Most of the things you listed are common repairs that you want to make sure are done before you buy any 75k+ mileage bmw, otherwise work the repair costs into the sale price.

The transmission however, I've never heard of water getting into it, maybe someone else has...

I'd say save some money now for any things that will come up or if you dont want to invest, sell your X. You are in a position where things are starting to show, replacement wise and after 80K if you run a search, your issue is normal. Plus, you have to consider replacing CV boots, Water pump, thermostat, tranny ( hope this wont happen soon) among other things. Right before i got rid of my X5, my cv boot released some grease and that alone cost me $300. I really like the X, but coudln't afford the repair costs, i had an 01 4.4i with 107K on the clock and i just dont want to deal with any costly issues, but other than my boot, my X was running fine...until when, i wasnt sure so i got rid of it.

Check with your dealer and see if they will replace the air bag "on good will" due to that part is not supposed to be a wear and tear item?
