putting a 4.8is spoiler on a 05 3.0i

i know this thread has gone on for quite sometime but still no answer or no one has done it yet.im just trying to see if anyone has put the 4.8is spoiler on a 2005 3.0i.i know the 4.8 is built in 05 but what would be the difference other than the front spoiler should it fit since its the same body type same front end and what would be the modification to install this nice little feature.i want it looks good for all you guy's that have the spoiler feels like i have to upgrade my 6 beater for the 8

Search is your friend ...

There's an article right on the home page:

Good luck on the mod!

For 2004-2006, you will need to buy a new front bumper cover to get the 4.8is look, plus the rear bumper trim, fender flares, and fender support trim.

Uhh, did you READ the article? It's all the same parts except the front bumber. He even tried to give the part number for the 04+ 4.8 bumper but got it wrong.

Sorry for trying to help I guess.

They're all in the article link that TwinsPoppa posted. It even has the 4.8is front bumper cover part number. I got most of the parts from Morristown BMW; they're a forum sponsor.

Prices that I paid for may have changed since I bought it. To get an exact price estimate, contact Morristown BMW: [email protected]

To give you approximate pricing, here's what I paid:

Front Bumper cover: ~$500 on ebay
Rear Trim pieces: ~$500
Painting from local body shop: ~$600
Fender Flares & Support Trim: ~$700
