Steering wheel noise-kinda sounds like a duck call?

Yeah when I turn my steering wheel either way there is a sound like a slow duck call. Not really loud but annoying. I've read up on other steering wheel noises here and they range from "clunking", "rubbing", and "wind" sounds. I've sprayed the U-joint and checked underneath the dash but it has been a challenge to really pinpoint. Fluid is fresh and full. I've even sprayed the immediate area inside the firewall to no avail. Maybe the angle sensor?

I might add that the noise is confined in and around the firewall area and not from engine compartment area.

There are some green plastic brgs/sleeves that sit on the steering shaft and in the rubber boots where it goes through the firewall. The noise might be coming from there.
