Toyo S/T experiences

I know some people have said they get noisy ~15k miles but has anyone found otherwise? I'm hugely disappointed with the Yokohamas and I hate to spend the coin on Diamaris' just 7 months after purchasing the Advans

Considering the Toyos since I had pretty good experience with them on my M3 a few years ago.

I LOVE my toyos. They are excellent performing tires, and they look great. I haven't noticed any noise issues with them. The price is reasonable too. I recommend them.

How many miles do you have on them?

Edit: WHOA

I have had about 4 sets of Toyos and yes the do starting "roaring" once you get some mileage on them, but as stated previously they are an excellent handling tire (wet and dry) and much cheaper than Michs. I even like their traction off-road.

The ST II's supposedly have been redesigned to address the noise issue, so give them a try - I will when I need a new set!!

I looked at the ST2's but they don't have the OEM fitment for a 4.8 available yet..

Hi all, I just put the STII's on my 4.4 in the 255/55/18 size. My thoughts thus far, 1200mi in, they are very quiet, ride well and handle well for an all season tire. My previous tires, the Kuhmo ECTSA STX, were fairly quiet at first, but became very noise and road rough. Overall the Kuhmo's were garbage. I guess only time will tell on the Toyo's.
