Saw my 4.6is this evening.

I was able to lay eyes on my 4.6is tonight. They cleaned it up but still have a couple things that need to be addressed such as the wheel rash and couple of door dings. WOW!!!...it looks amazing. I was hoping to get it today and now it looks like I may not get it until next weekend because I am heading to D.C. early Monday for the week. This is worse than ordering one because I know where it is and I could have it now, but I want to make sure they clean it up and make it perfect.

yeah...it was totaled. They showed me where the front quarter was pushed back into the firewall, although the firewall did not look damaged. They said the frame was not bent at all, but just to make the repairs would run 25k. I said...Ok...total it. I am going to attempt to buy it and part it out. I have made an offer the insurance company but have not heard yet.

Engine and Tranny are in great shape
All intererior components are like new for a 2001 X5...plus very rare comfort seats.
