Looking for some opinions

Well my X told me yesterday to check my front fog lamps. So i did and sure enough my driver side fog was out. So i obviously need to replace.

On to my question. Im stuck deciding between a yellow bulb and a bulb with a closer match to the stock HID headlights.

My reasoning for the yellow, i love the look of it and it is my understanding that yellow is more functional in fog/bad weather situations.

Reasoning for matching headlights, looks more uniform.

As you can see my headlight matching is only one reason lol.

For those who have matched the headlights how are the bulbs in fog, and if anyone has yellow fog lights how are they and do you have any pics.

Also the correct size is H3 right?

Thanks in advance!

Why not take it all the way to the real HID fogs.it is better lights for your
bucks too.

I just switched my yellow bulbs for Bimmian Xenesis Xenon-match bulbs. I feel like the output is over all the same. The yellow was definately eliminated. So I would definately switch to Xenon-match rather than stock yellow. I have a 6000k HID foglight kit on the way from Dave @ Custom Angel Eyes/ AngeliBright. I bought the Xenon-match bulbs because I didnt want to spend on an HID foglight kit. But in the end, xenon match is just not enough, spend $100 more for the real thing.

If you decide on sticking with xenon match, my set might be up for sale when i get the HID kit. But i think the HID kit is a better investment for you. (avoid the mistake i did and buy it from the start!)

As for the size, it varies. Check your owners manual.. my 2002 fog bulbs are H3.

Here is a pic with the xenon match fog bulbs (and my new Custom Angel Eye headlights! ):

By yellow i mean "yellow" not stock yellow, but kind of what you would see on rolex series race cars or le man series cars.

oh okay. thats a different case. i guess then it all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. yellow is pretty unique, you dont see them on many german cars..
