What's the best way to ship X5 from CA to VA?

Hello,

I need to send my X5 from CA to VA soon,
What's the best/cheap way to send a vehicle?
Any experiences?

Thank you

I won't be able to make a roadtrip, I'm selling my X5 and buyer also can't make a roadtrip,
so he wants me to ship it to VA...

Lots of vehicle transport services out there. Check ebay for some recommendations from that site.

When I bought my X5 in LA, California I had it shipped via rail to Chicago, as I found it was the most economical way.

No experience here but may want to ask the buyer to pick his choice - so you're not liable for his choice.

Open carrier or closed I would think are additional choices. Not sure if you or the buyer would want to consider having a driver go all the way to VA - too much risk I think (not to mention mileage).

Intercity is supposed to be very good.

FYI it's usually about 2x$ to have it enclosed.

Have the buyer arrange shipping. That's standard practice.
