Hello, does anyone have the above mentioned roof boxes? and how do you like them etc. I am taking the family vacation in a few weeks and need to store more stuff on board. can you hear any wind noise at freeway speeds with all the windows up?? thanks chucker

I don't have the BMW cargo box, but I use a Thule Evolution box that actually looks quite similar to the 320/450. Of course there is a bit of noise, but it's only slight and not too much to mind... One note -- DO NOT usa a fairing with the box, as it does make it noisy.

I just drove 2700 miles with the Yakima box and racks...no noise even at 110 mph.....I have the yakima box that is black, shorter and wider than their long one.....

Way cheaper set up that BMW ...REI had it all for 20% off last month

Bmw roof box

Just curios why hasn't anyone talked about Bmw racks: all I see is Yakama and Thule. just ordered the Bmw roof box 350, pick up in a couple days, already have the Bmw base support system, and the Bmw bike rack.and thinks it looks dynamite on the X5.
Starman
Does anybody have any likes or dislikes with the bmw roof boxes:
