Cool! Lost 17Lbs today.

Well, as I personally am a size 6/8 UK and weigh about 94Lbs, losing 17 Lbs would be a little difficult in a day but I DID IT!

I chopped out the front silencer from the X5 and replaced it with a nice pair of 2" stainless tubes, saving 17Lbs in the process and giving the car a really nice exhaust note. I would Guesstimate just 10-20% louder but much deeper and more aggressive sounding, just like a V8 should be.

The 2 new pipes are braced together and have a new exhaust hanger mounted to them exactly the same as the original silencer. Unlikely to be any performance benefit but the car "feels" more responsive and certainly sounds quicker so thats good enough for me.

Now what's next, the awful stereo or play with the suspension? Where's my purse?

X5Girl, xxx
