How to check what is uncharging my battery?
Hello can someone helps me because for about two weeks something is uncharging my battery in my x5. when I don't drive my car for one day the battery is empty and I have to charge it andI don;t know what could happens this kind of symptom. Maybe navigation or something could get so much of electric current

Just recently had this issue but on my 2003 E39 M5, usual culprit is the FSU (Final Stage Unit). Fairly cheap part to replace but tough to remove and re-install if you have big hands...
Usual symptom is sudden increase/decrease of fan speed on the AC/Heater blower... Search for FSU here and I'm sure you'll find some threads talking about the same issue on the E53 X5.

thanks for suggestions. I think I will try to change the finla stage resistor because when I was reading posts about this subject I have imperf that my a/c blower decrease and increase on his own and maybe it didnt turn off when I close my car. I will write is this solution helps but I think it will solve the problem

hi
maybe someone knows what fuse turns on and off the final stage resistor because I want to check is fsr is uncharging my baterry and in one of the post which I've read someone write that fuse nr 59 is responsible for the fsr but when I pull out this fuse and turn on the ignition the a/c is still working. thx for any reply |
