Oh man that sucks, the same thing happened to me when I had my jeep, without the pole hitting two other cars of course. your ride looked sweet too.

DAMN!!! That is bad and your friend is lucky to be relatively unhurt. He's even luckier that he is unhurt after you found out. Please let us know how the insurance issue works out.

Does he have auto insurance? If not, then are you totally SOL?

Oh it's definitely worth ruining a friendship over. Especially if insurance won't cover it. He tried to be a nice guy and the "friend" takes advantage by driving too fast. What kind of "friend" does that to begin with?
