Going from 18" to 20" tires any change in ride quality?

For those of you who went to 20" tires from stock 18".... did you notice any change in ride quality?

Harshness? Any steering problems? (Tramlining?)

Any noticeable improvement?

Yes there will be a change in ride quality. It will be more stiff. Do a quick search and lots of info should come up.

Get the 20s but do not use them in Toronto's winter. Ride will be stiffer than 18s but should be fine. Handling will improve, specially on the ramps.

Get some 20s. Steering will be different because usually with larger wheels they get wider. Other than that, I cant say anything negative about them. You might get a 'harsher' ride due to low profile tires..

All I can suggest is don't hit any potholes - much more likely to damage the wheel - IMHO, it's a great thing, but not practical unless virtually all the roads you travel are smooth

I've hit my fair share of potholes.. I've had no issues. On the X5 the tires are not as low-profile as what you would get on a car on 20s. Therefore, you should not have any issues unless its some insanely huge pothole.

in the city ride a little..but
after you hit 100mp/h...on the freeway you woun't fill big diference..
pump this tires up to 38..
