X5 went to dealer today - replaced the left and right stabilizer links and collar nuts - clunk all gone - drives like new
Stabilizer links - $48.49 each Collar nuts - $.87 each Labor - $115.00 Total with tax - $233.24 I think this was a fair deal. Thanks to all who called this one from the first clunk! John |

On a scale of 1 to 10 on difficulty, I would say this is a 2. Total price for me was about $40. I did the labor myself in about 30 minutes. http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...rs-photos.html

I looked at the DIY and had it been summer - or not upstate NY winter - I would have given it a try. My garage floor is just too damn cold this time of year. The DIY posted is very good.
