Angel eyes and clear lights

Hi.

Im looking to mod my recently bought 2001 3.0l X5.

I have Oem xenon without angel eyes.

I was thinking about taking out the lights and remove the waffel on both lights. Will removing the waffel in front of the xenon lights make the light pattern different.? Would like them to still pass the EU controll..

Also while i have lights out i would like to install angel lights..

I can see there are different products on the market. What do you recommend of LED angels, or CCFl.? I previously had a 2000 320cia with the ccfl angel eyes, and was pleased with them, but it seemes like more people goes for the led lights.. Not sure the difference..

ex. http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1153

While im at it ill put in some xenon lookalike halogen bulbs for the fog lights.. Any tip for which ones to use.?

Thanks for all replies..
