Question Colored Seatbelts??

Doesn't anyone know where I can find white seat belts? I think it would look nice with a black interior. Any thoughts?

I think my Mom tossed out my Safety Patrol belt sometime back in
the '60s... (And, no that's not me in the pic, but I was a Safety
Patrol crossing kid, circa '57 & '58.)

I would think that the oils/dirt from our hands and clothes would
discolor a white belt pretty quickly; but, different strokes.

It's very difficult to do bc every belt has to pass DOT testing and dying a belt makes it significantly weaker...so manufacturers aren't plentiful bc there isn't much demand for the costs involved.

You got to keep your SP belt? We had to return ours at the end of the day. And, it was yucky "safety orange".

Well, not sure it was an authorized "keepsake", but I kept mine until
it was tossed out. Ours were white to start with, but were gray by year
two. This was '57/'58 Doc; high viz orange hadn't been invented, yet.

Reflective orange belt and it had to be returned at the end of the school year.

I was a school bus safety.

I didn't know dying a belt made it weaker. I just thought it would look pretty nice and unique in my X.
