EDIT: looks like he beat me to it.

I think he meant HIDNY.com:
http://hidny.com/category.sc;jsessio...?categoryId=17

I have the same lights (but 6000K) and bought them from their ebay listing for $45 shipped.

I think they're okay and a cheap upgrade. Mine are not brighter than stock but I think looks way better than stock (6000K cool white).

I'm waiting on some LEDs from HK to try a DIY that will be brighter than these and, hopefully, match or even beat the brightness of the AngelIbrights ($300). These LEDs also don't require resistors which can be a fire hazard. I'll post once I have them.

BTW ... you might get hassled by cops. At least around here, cops are the only ones allowed with blue lighting. Just warning you just in case ....

The ones we're referring to are changing the actual bulbs that illuminate the angel eyes themselves. You can change the bulbs to achieve a different color or intensity.

Pre-2004 X5s don't come stock with the actual angel eyes. So, those need custom installing in the existing headlights or changed out for aftermarket ones that already come with them installed.

They are cheap for a reason. I had the same installed...and the LED burnt out in about 3 months They were not even being used that often due to the long summer daylight hours. I just switched back to stock as they are actually more visible than the superwhite (6000k) LED that I had.
