lease questions

What are you guys paying for a lease if you don't mind me asking? I am pondering the idea of a lease but not sure if its worth it? I have a 2000 x5 paid for and its parting me to death! My wife and I love it but the maintenance is to high. So I was wondering about the cost of a lease on a new x5 and say a 2005 x5? Does it make a difference? Thanks in advance.

Really not worth leasing a used vehicle, in my opinion. The payments should be almost the same. Plus the warranty issue would bother me on a 4 year old car.

The warrant would have different coverage due to age right? More miles probably less coverage? What about payments? What are lease payment on the X5's new vs used?

When I was shopping for the X5 dealers informed me that BMW did not lease preowned vehicles....however you can asssume a BMW lease.

Google search... Lease Trader or Swap Lease for details. Dont know if this is available in Canada.

Generally lease payments are less than financing a purchase but with used car values dropping like a stone lease residual values are lower making payments higher for a 2008.

Knowing what a X5 owner is paying on a 2005 or 2006 will not be helpful unless you are assuming the lease.

unless you can write off the lease payments it will cost you more than financing. you might as well finance it over the long term and drive it into the ground.
