where to buy m sport steering wheel for 05 x5!
i have a 05 x5 with standard BMW steering wheel. i am interested in changing my standard oem non sport steering wheel to a sport steering wheel or m type . how much will it cost with airbag and where can i buy it from?can i sell my original steering wheel with airbag?can i install myself?any suggestions.

Depends on what you want to spend.
I recently installed a heated sport wheel from an 2005 4.8 into my 01 4.4. Got it off of ebay for $100 then bought an airbag from a salvage yard. If you go all new for a wheel and airbag it is going to be ~ $1500. It is def. something you can do yourself. Just check the homepage for directions.

The ride is pretty good. Then again I am guessing that the roads here in Iowa are a little better maintained than in NY as far as potholes and such.
Hope you find what you are looking for. Don't forget to check the for sale page here as well, sometimes those steering wheels will come up.
