CPO stands for Certified Pre-Owned. Beware what you wish for. The maintenence will drain you if your not under the warranty (4 yrs) so don't get anything older than a 2005.

It took me a while to figure it out too..... CPO = certified pre-owned (i.e. from BMW dealer) It's not quite as good as the 40K initial warantee, but pretty good indeed and typically lasts to 100K.
