Sunroof Alignment Problmes Common?
We've been looking at X5's for my wife. It seams like two-thirds of the ones we drive with sunroofs have misalignment issues with the roof. When you open it in the tilt function, it struggles at first, than 'pops' open with a loud 'POP' as it breaks free. Similar issues when closing. Some are worse than others. Sadly enough these are all 'CPO' vehicles, so much for the piece of mind of the vehicle having had a thorough inspection and recondition..
I searched, but didn't find much of anything related to this. Is this issue that common? Easy fix? Involved Fix? I know that we'd have it repiared before taking delivery of any CPO vehicle, but is it likely to reoccur? Are the mechanics likely to make a mess fo the truck fixing it? Thanks..
