Hey all im new to the forums and x5 world but not bmw
i just purchased an 06 x5 6spd manual trans has cold weather package and premium also but no nav no sirius and no ipod connector and when i called the dealer they told me i cant retrofit it with the nav which i think they are wrong. Also they told me that i can only have either the sirius or ipod not both. any suggestions for a newbie! i could honmestly careless about the navigation but i need my ipod and sirius.
Thanks in advance
Adam

I can understand wanting Ipod or Sirius, but why chase the cost
and install of Nav? A $200-$300 Garmin, et al, works as well.

Actually, a lot better. Count your blessings, really. I have nav, all the updates and my Garmin goes on the dash every time I go someplace I don't know. It is just far superior.

I run it into the aux that I installed.

If I had a non-nav car I would really think about one of those really nice pop-uo big screen models. Crutchfield has some nice ones and you can get them with sat radio, bluethooth, etc. All far better than BMW's unit.
