How to open fuse box in glove compartment

How do you guys open the fuse box in the glove compartment area? The user's manual said to turn the two quick release fasteners to the left, but for the life of me, I can't find those quick release fasteners that you can turn. All I can find are a couple of clips (tabs) that looks like you have to press on or pulled, but I'm not sure and I didn't want to break those tabs. Am I missing something? Thanks.
