Warranty Work

Hey guys, few questions regarding warranty:

I noticed that a lot of the Sport Steering wheels in the X5 4.4 tend to "peel"

Mine has a really small scrape and im afraid it might turn into something worse. Is this covered by warranty?

Also, The door handles chip pretty bad, is this also a warranty item?

Also, I got the x-pipe installed yesterday, love it! (AFE Intake this weekend)

Robert

My car still has almost 18 months of warranty left (06, 36k) Will they replace all of those things?

My dealer also agreed to replace the peeling steering wheel.

Any advise on the way to get all those cosmetic things replaced? I know theres the right way to get the dealer to do all those things.

So far heres my list:

Dead pixel on the NAV
Loose center console lid (smaller one)
Steering wheel close to peeling
Driver door handle chipped
E-Brake holds poorly

Guys Help, Here is what my service adviser told me regarding my repairs over email.

Mr.. Gershberg,

I would need to inspect these items when the vehicle comes in. The warranty coverage is for defect in workmanship
not for wear and tear.

Thank you,
Mike Mills

HELP!

All those things were replaces on my X under warranty. IMHO wear and tear applies only to things that should wear out like tires, brakes, seating surfaces.

Your dealer's letter only shows part of the story, the warranty is for:
1. defects in workmanship AND
2. defects in parts
