Hello from a newbie
Hello, I've been lurking on the site for a few weeks now and I figured now that my X5 is officially mine (although it's not with me yet) I could introduce myself. I just purchased a beautiful 2006 X5 4.8is, unfortunately it is in Massachusetts and I am in Texas, so I have to wait until the end of the week for it to be delivered. This is my first BMW and I am definitely psyched! I have driven my friends 2001 4.4 several times and am always very impressed so I know I will love my 4.8is. I currently own a 2005 GMC Sierra which I will be selling and a 2003 Corvette Z06 that I have obsessed over and modified nearly since the day I bought it. I am an active member in the Corvetteforum and from what I have seen so far, it looks like X5world will provide the same level of help, support and enthusiasm as I'm used to over there (it appears the mod bug is alive and well here too which is nice
 ). I can't wait until I can post some of my own pictures but for now I will post one from the dealer. I'll definitely let everyone know when it finally arrives, I'm sure I will be smiling for days![IMG]  [/IMG][IMG]  [/IMG]

Nice X you have coming, and Titz Z06! Several of us here have Vettes, FCars, PCars and all varieties of hot azz cars. As an occasional C'vette Forum reader, this Board is as good, X and car-wise, and lots of other great info from a group of very enthused and very smart people, imo.
