Well, don't know anything about what is or isn't Euro spec but I heard that the dealers here can do the same for us - they just won't.

This is something I will investigate with my .. cough ... new toy.

However, good news to us facelift guys with stock AEs. I finally figured out how to wire the AEs as DRLs to a switch - WITHOUT errors!

Actually two ways I found how to do it ... keep a lookout for a new thread on this soon!

Cant wait to see the DIY write up on this, been trying to figure out how to do it since we got the X5 2 months ago. Hopefully your "new toy" is a orange computer that can change settings for the on board computer, call it a euro option call it what u want, all I know is Tom at EAS hooked one up to the X5 and now the DRL are off and the windows rolldown AND up remote from the key!!!

You should share more info. on that. I'm sure people would be very interested .. especially if its inexpensive!

Nah .. my new toy is actually, I guess, yellow & black - laptop GT1.
