Discounted OEM parts - do dealers mostly sell at MSRP?

I have a new-to-me X5 and need a few minor things.
Dealer-only type parts (Sunvisor, exterior moldings,trim, etc.)
Do the dealers part dept usually sell at MSRP for parts?
Or do you folks find better prices on the internet?

I sometimes need parts for my autos in a hurry and can't wait for delivery.
I paid $tealer list price until I got irritated and asked for the parts manager when the counter help was of no assistance and said OEM parts that where cheaper online were non-OEM.
I calmly explained to him that I could get OEM parts cheaper online but hated that my money was leaving the community and that I would rather support local first. I understood that they were in the business to make money, but why would I pay full list for OEM parts when they could be bought cheaper.
He was kind enough to set up an account that shows discounted prices when I call in.
I am just amazed at each purchase when the invoice shows the list price I would have been paying if I hadn't complained.

what kind of discount do you get? BMW car club in Canada gives 10%. Membership fee yearly? a measly $45!
