Pulled the trigger and traded the X5!!!!!

As the title says I traded the X5 for an 2005 Lincoln Navigator. I am very sad to see it go but when the maintenance costs are more than a high end lease its time to say goodbye!! After a number of breakdown leaving my wife and kids stranded on the road its going to be nice to get into something newer and I hope to say more reliable.. I have had many good experiance with the X though. I will miss dusting all the other SUV's and most cars off the lights and on the highway. I have used X5 world many times for help and reference material.. Its going to be hard to find a forum like this one!! Hope everyone has luck with their X's now and in the future!!

i feel ya man. my X is like the spoiled brat in the family. not that I have kids but if I did, I think it would be like that.

she gives me trouble and all is forgiven once she's brought back all clean and shiny.

good luck on the navi man, and dont be a stranger...

I totally agree with you. To the OP, good luck with the Navigator.

What year was your X5? Engine size? Miles?

Just curious about what I get to look forward to. Thanks.

Got to agree, I think you did the right thing.

I love my X5, it's sexy and there are very few of them around my town, none in the same Imola Red as mine. But when it gets close to the 100K mile mark and the repairs are on me instead of BMW, I'm going back to something a bit more boring and a lot more reliable
