Need your feedback, please

Hi, everyone. It's been a while since I've visited. My brief stint of owning an 02 X5 4.6is really stuck in my mind. I'm on my third e46 M3C, but have an oportunity to purchase this: BMW : X5:eBay Motors (item 110403391976 end time Jun-26-09 13:16:48 PDT).

First, what do you think? Second, for those with a pano roof, I understand they're prone to leak. True? I'd be grateful for your feedback.

Thanks all.

Bruce

Also, one more question: is there any aftermarket upgrades for the steering wheel? Can you retrofit an e46 M3 steering wheel on it? I know you can with the 4.6is version, but what about the 2004-06 models?

You upgrade to the M-Sport wheel 04+. I think the panoroof is more prone to breaking than leaking.

If you can find someone in the area to take a look at it...i'd say go for it. That model year with similar mileage are going for $35K-$40K at the dealers.

Should be in the ad. I don't know. I'd have to go to EBay to find out myself. I may go over today and look at her.

i recommend add another 5k-6k to those 27k and get a 2007 x5 (maybe even a 4.8)

let me know if you need help locating one.....

With a e70 you will have a new design and warranty of a new car..
