Question I NEED HELP!! UPGRADE HALOGEN HOUSING TO ANGEL EYES HOUSING? WHERE CAN I GET EM!

Im not too familiar with tech stuff on my X but i asked a few of you guys already. i wanna upgrade my halogen lights on my 2001 x5 4.4i to the newer looking models. angel eyes. but i wanna change the whole housing. not just the bulbs. can someone refer to the right spot? where all i have to do is take the whole halogen headlight housing (including turning signals, the whole works) and put in the angel eyes.

I wouldn't put angel eyes in your halogen housing setup. Get a xenon-projector housing if you want and put some angel eyes in them/find someone to put angel eyes in them. or buy a whole headlight setup with projectors and angel eyes all ready to go. Up to you. If you want to buy your own xenon-projector housing and get someone to install the angel eyes into them, I know a company that does that. I think its called izntrbl . My friend made custom headlights with projectors/angel eyes on his Grand Marquise and they turned out better than expected. all you do is send in the headlight and angel eyes.

Here you go man.. problem solved...These are the best ones you'll ever find being sold anywhere online. Unless you wanna go to customangeleyes.com. Which are actually the best and you'll love them.. But they're very expensive, talking like a grand $$ I think.. If you don't wanna do that, go with these below...And yes like he said above, you will need an HID kit if you want xenon..

Those are nice looking. When they say clear corners they mean that literally - they're see-through! Cool!

Hi guys,
I have, like most others done a lot of researching on this matter. Just a few questions re upgrading h/lights to xenons with A/eyes & clear corners to my '02. Currently I have halogens, no A/eyes & amber corner lens.
Please understand that over here in Oz we are pretty much on our own 'cause most folks don't get into mods on their X's like you guys do Stateside. A couple of mechanics I've spoken to have said leave the car 'as is'.

1/ Given that I have rear fog lights (I believe stnd in Aust [Euro delivery]), what and where would I use for a switch to activate the A/eyes ?? Bear in mind I don't want a toggle sw. or similar stuck on the dash somewhere. Would it be detrimental to the A/eyes to turn on each and every time I start and run the car ??
From what I've seen here it's one of the best mods one can do, especially to a prefacelift, so why not show them off in all their white glowing glory all the time.

2/ I've noticed when driving on dark roads that the oem Halogen lights are not that bad really (they are BMW at the end of the day). When I do the upgrade should I just keep the halogens, but change to the clearer lens type (cheaper) like 'blackbeauty' on this thread or go full tilt with xenons ??

3/ Because I'm in Australia with RH Drive can I be assured that I won't end up with LH Drive h/lights ? Has anyone else from a RH Drive side country (Aust., UK etc) successfully completed this conversion ??

4/ I currently have self levelling. I hope I can retain this feature without doing open heart surgery. Anything to worry about ??

5/ In the event that I run with Xenons, does my X have all wiring in place ready to convert to Xenon's with plug n play, or do I have to have a new loom / harness installed ??

In advance thanks for reading this, I look forward to your comments / answers.

Foomph.
