My trip to Lake Placid, NY (skiing Whiteface Mt)

So I got my ROLA crossbars (soooo hard to get), Yakima SpaceCadet 15s on and the Thule bike Rack with Ski attachment... Here are some pictures from the trip..

I had a great time at Lake Placid myself about 6 years ago. My daughter was skating at the US Nationals for synchronized skating, and it was amazing to have the opportunity to see her skate on the same rink that was used for the Olympics.

Did you get a chance to do the bobsled? That was one of the highlights of that trip for me, although I really enjoyed skiing Whiteface Mountain as well.

Thanks for sharing the pics, it looks like you had a great time!

didnt do Bobsled.. we skied everyday and were too hung over from all the and on Jan 1st to do it...

perhaps next year

5.5 hours for me and ski there every year. Did you stay at the Golden Arrow or just ride the Dogsled?

How was the skiing? Paron's Looks a little thin...From your picture.

My family went to LP last year and had a great time.
LP offers great skiing and a nice village with good restaurants.

Hope you had a good time the hard top and ski rack looks nice.

skiing was excellent!

We rented a house in Upper Jay .. 20 mins away.
