Seat belt warning alarm won't stop

Hi, i have had a good search but can't find any help. When someone sits in the passager seat with the belt on the warning alarm goes off as if the belt is not done up. It doesn't happen every single time but every 9/10
Times. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

You have 2006 model year and there is a recall on passenger seat occupancy sensor (faulty pad under the seat). Most likely the cause of the warning.

I thought that the mat in the seat would be fine as it reckonizes someone is there. It's once the seat belt is fastened that nothing hsppens. Any more suggestions?
