You have more than one issue going on here if the car vibrates at idle as well has highway speeds. Gotta be something in the drivetrain for the car to vibrate at idle.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
And from the sound of it, you would save money by paying for a proper diagnosis at the dealer vs throw numerous parts at it in hopes to find the problem. ~$100 diagnosis fee costs less than +/- $500 in parts.

Friend,

That was the first thing I did, but they couldn’t find anything, the diagnosis showed no ERROR – no FAUT CODE. All those parts I mentioned we’re their suggestions that “maybe” causing the vibration but there was no assurance and I’d have to pay for labor/hour + parts (a lot of course $$$), that’s the reason I choose and independent and very professional mechanic to sort it out.
If you Google “BMW X5 VIBRATION AT IDLE” or “BMW X5 VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED” you will find dozens of people having the same problem without solution and not only X5’s, but a large variety o BMW models.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my bimmer, it’s the second I have, my first was a 325I and it also have it’s issues. A BMW car is a real pleasure to drive and with such elaborated engineering is not acceptable that something like a “vibration” when you’re pressing the brake pedal at a red light should turn out to be such a hard thing to fix.

I'm having a complete fluid drain and carbon removal done on my X this week. I'll let you know if it helps with the vibration at idle. As far as the shaking goes while driving, I found a place that does alignments proper like and haven't had a problem since.

Follow-up (I'll update this list periodically):

Here are places that I know of that use the Hunter GSP9700 for tire balancing AND the Hunter Auto34 for tire mounting.

- Lexus of Mt. Kisco, NY
275 Kisco Avenue
MOUNT KISCO, NY 10549
Phone: 914-241-3500

- BMW Of Bridgeport
43 North Avenue
BRIDGEPORT, CT 06606
Phone: 203-334-1672

- Mercedes Benz of White Plains
50 Bank Street
WHITE PLAINS, NY 10606
Phone: 914-949-4000

- Bert's Motor Works, Inc.
95 East Main Street
ELMSFORD, NY 10523
Phone: 914-592-4748

To find a list of places that use the Hunter GSP9700 use this link. Make sure to pick a place that has the "StraightTrak LFM."

Hunter GSP9700 Wheel Vibration Control System

An FYI, most dedicated tire shops do not have a GSP9700 AND an Auto34 because they are very expensive and only mandated by some manufacturers like BMW. From a Hunter rep: BMW rims and tire combinations are tough to change on some of their models because BMW uses a designation AH rim which means it has two asymmetrical humps built into their rims that will only allow a bead roller type machine to find the flat spot of the hump to push the bead past. Never allow a side shovel type machine change your tires."

I think you have two different issues. For the vibration at 60-80, have them check your thrust arm bushings.

FYI, within a month of having my 215s, somehow the front passenger side wheel was found bent when I was noticing increased vibration. I do not remember ever hitting anything, but then again it had been in the shop for a few days on an unrelated issue, so not sure what happened during that time.
