Brakes - What is everyone using as stock/OEM replacement?

Brake lining light came on while wife was driving home from work. It just came on so not too worried as I have some time. Jumped on my usually channels for replacement parts.

Seems Jurid/Textar is OEM supplir for the pads. ATE,Brembo and others make stock replacement. It is driven to and from work so nothing too crazy.

What is everyone using? 2004 X5 4.4i

Still on my stock brakes at 70,000KM and they still bite. I love to get some Brembos when the stock pads expire, but it seems like the OEM brakes do a great job of bringing the X5 to a stand still

I have used ATE and other non-original rotors, and went back to OEM. For pads, I used Axxis Deluxe, or OEM, depending on my tolerance of dust.

I like the OEM for both pads and rotors....
from both noise & bite ...

Never did like the Axiss on cold bite

Thanks guys. WHen I do it I will be replacing everything so rotors, pads, sensors, hardware etc. I have always like zimmerman blanks but it seems I cannot locate those for the X5. Used them on my M3 track car when I had that.

Don't know where I am leaning. Centric with the posi-queit I really liked on our Explorer. WOuld be interested in that setup. I am not too worried about dust. I wash it once or twice a week by hand so it gets cleaned. Good performance I care about more than super low dust.
