It's nice when people behave like this..

My Chrome tips came in yesterday, and I know it is not a real hard job, but I just did not not feel like wrestling around with the black ones in the snow. Plus they have been on since 2001.

So I took it to the place that installed my X-Pipe the other day. The guy had me pull it up on the lift and with some coercing took the old tips off, spray painted the mufflers, were the paint had chipped and put the new chrome ones on. Lowered me down and said pull up in front. Took 20 min.

The boss hollers out, "send me your friends and at least 2 enemies."

In a crap economy they could have used the $35.00 or whatever it would have been as much as me.

Happy customers are some of the best advertising, but a happy person might tell 3 people an unhappy one will tell 10.

Good service!

Where did you order your tips from? Pics?

I've been looking but still haven't made up my mind. Anything should look better than none at all.

Hey skiboats ... no problems with installing the tips? Do you have the Sport package? I realize you already have the tips installed. Just curious.

Because the listing says:

These will fit all 4.4 2001 through production date 09-03 EXCEPTthe 4.4 Sport Package that already have the black exhaust tips.

I do have a sport package. Just had to yank the old ones off. Easy, but was up on a lift and at the right level. Just had to keep working them a bit. I'm sure I could have done it myself, although it was cold and wet and I did not want to sit in the snow.

I was thinking a small oil filter type wrench would have worked well.

They came off unscathed. Thought I would see what they will do on Ebay.
