Drivers electric seats not working (Retro Fit)

I bought some sport leather electric seats and fitted them in my 01 X5 all fits fine as expected but the drivers seat won't work!

The passengers seat works fine plugged into the existing loom.

Does anyone know if I need to by a mod or have the Drivers seat re wired into the loom as there is no life at all.

I've check the fuses which are all ok, it looks like the only power coming from the loom goes to a pin which is not in use on the seat? Hence me thinking adapter.

HELP!!:dunno:

Where are those seats came from an 1999-2003 E46 or X5?

Man I hope you installed them properly. Did you connect the pyrotechnic device as well?

I'm just trying to find out exactly what model the seats came from and will post asap.

As far as the pyros, yes disconnected the battery first then carefully unplugged the seats from the loom before taking them out. Once removed I then removed the seatbelt tensioners along with the pyros and bolted them straight on to the new seats and re-plugged wiring before installing then back in the car and then re-connected to the loom.

It is a job when you should take extreme care and wear safety glasses and gloves!!

Update the seats came from a 2003 X5 so certainly no problems on that front, my old seats were manual cloth the new seats are leather and electric.

The drivers seat (RHS, Uk) has memory function and this is the seat which is not working at all!

So my question again is do I require a purchasable adapter to plug into the loom or just a complete re wire?

Many Thanks
